    PC ECP

    El puerto Extended Capabilities Port (bidireccional) se implementa en los PC's mayoritariamente con el bus PCI (placas 486 PCI), al integrar las funciones realizadas antes por una tarjeta Multi I/O (puertos Serie y Paralelo, controladoras IDE y floppy) en la propia placa base. No obstante, puede encontrarse en PC's más viejos equipados con una multi I/O moderna.
